Quinn for the Win!

“Yet through it all, Quinn has remained a shining light. His spirit is vibrant, his resilience unshakable, and his patience remarkable.”

At just ten months old, Quinn's journey took an unexpected turn during what we thought would be a routine doctor’s visit. We mentioned a concern about his right eye, which seemed to move slower than his left. Three days later, we found ourselves at Riley Children’s Hospital, sitting in the pediatric ophthalmologist's office, hearing words no parent is prepared for: retinoblastoma—cancer of the eye.

The four years that have followed this diagnosis have been marked by Quinn's incredible bravery. He has faced over thirty visits to Riley, where he underwent chemotherapy, numerous exams under anesthesia to monitor tumor growth, radiation, and ultimately the removal of his right eye in the summer of 2024. The physical and emotional toll of these treatments has been immense—exhausting for all of us and filled with challenges that no child should have to endure.

Yet through it all, Quinn has remained a shining light. His spirit is vibrant, his resilience unshakable, and his patience remarkable. Losing sight in one eye has not slowed him down; he has adapted with astonishing grace. His ability to trust—trust in his nurses, in us as his parents, and in all his caregivers—has been nothing short of inspiring.

We are beyond grateful to share that Quinn’s prognosis is excellent. Every day, we are reminded of how lucky we are to watch him grow and develop. The support and generosity from others have been a tremendous help in easing the financial burden of his care, and we can’t thank you enough. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Quinn's journey.
